Microsoft Windows Server - A software component that communicates with a Network Policy Server (NPS) and provides information that system health agents (SHAs) use to validate compliance. For example, a server running NPS might have to contact a policy server, such as an antivirus signature server, to check for the version of the current signature file. A policy server also communicates with a system health validator (SHV) to validate a statement of health (SoH) from an SHA.
