infinite loop
Java
A loop whose termination test never evaluates to false. Sometimes this is a deliberate act on the part of the programmer, using a construct such as
while(true) ...or
for( ; ; ) ...but it can sometimes be the result of a logical error in the programming of a normal loop condition or the statements in the body of the loop.
