Superfund Enhanced State and Tribal Role Initiative (STROLE) (STROLE)

The purpose of the Superfund Enhanced State and Tribal Role Initiative (STROLE) is to develop a comprehensive plan that EPA can implement to share Superfund program responsibilities with interested and capable states and tribes, to enable cleanup of more sites. EPA intends for this plan to promote flexibility in the management of contaminated sites consistent with the overall goal of protecting human health and the environment.
