A collection of configuration settings that are applied to one or more Exchange configuration objects. Policies simplify the administration of Exchange. You can define a policy that controls the configuration of some, or of all settings across a server or other objects in an Exchange organization. After policies are defined and implemented, editing the policy and then applying it changes the configuration of all servers and objects covered by the policy. [Exchange 2003]
