1. Grand Jury A jury of inquiry whose duty it is to receive complaints and accusations in criminal matters and, if appropriate, issue a formal indictment.
2. Gross misdemeanor A crime with penalties of imprisonment from 91 days to one year or a fine of not more than $3,000 or both.
3. Guardian Ad Litem A court-appointed guardian who appears in a lawsuit on behalf of an incompetent or minor party.
