Azimuth

A direction in terms of a 360° compass. North is at 0°, east is at 90°, south is at 180°, and west is at 270°.

Orientation of a vector projected onto a reference horizontal plane, relative to a reference direction in the plane.

The horizontal direction of a vector, measured clockwise in degrees of rotation from the positive y-axis, for example, degrees on a compass.
