Bottom-Up Review (BUR)

A comprehensive review, initiated in March 1993, of the nations defense strategy, force structure, modernization, infrastructure, and foundations. The BUR examined U.S. missile defense requirements from a perspective of identifying options that could meet future needs at an affordable cost.
