Defense

The ratio and manner of assigning numbers of interceptors against given attackers. One-on-one, salvo, shoot-look-shoot, shoot-fail-shoot, etc. are examples of different firing doctrine. The priority of targets being defended and the number of interceptors available relative to the number of attackers drive doctrine.
