limited stage SCLC

SCLC stands for small cell lung cancer. SCLC is usually staged as either "limited" or "extensive." Limited stage generally means the cancer has not spread beyond the lung where it started, the tissues between the lungs or the nearby lymph nodes. See also oat cell and small cell lung cancer.
