Manufacturing Technology (MANTECH)

Manufacturing technology refers to any action which has as its objective the timely establishment or improvement of the manufacturing processes, techniques, or equipment required to support current and projected programs, and the assurance of the ability to produce, reduce lead time, ensure economic availability of end items, reduce costs, increase efficiency, improve reliability, or to enhance safety and anti-pollution measures. MANTECH, per se, is the specific DoD program in this area. 176
