translation signaling point (TSP)

A signaling point that performs SCCP (signal connection control part) global title translation. It is also known as SCCP Relay Node. The translation performed may be intermediate, in which case the TSP is referred to as "intermediate translation signaling point" (ITSP), or final, in which case the TSP is referred to as "final translation signaling point" (FTSP).
