Microsoft Exchange 2003

A type of tool that you can add to a console supported by Microsoft Management Console (MMC). A standalone snap-in can be added by itself; an extension snap-in can be added only to extend the function of another snap-in. A snap-in is used to manage services for a component or product. Exchange System Manager is an example of an MMC snap-in. [Exchange 2003]
