System Evolution Plan (SEP)
Defense
The documented plan that establishes the strategy to evolve the BMDS capabilities over time. It reflects the BMD Acquisition Executive (AE) and Senior Executive Councils (SEC) development decisions; documents the current BMDS Development Baseline; and summarizes the capability, integration and assessment of the BMDS evolution. It identifies opportunities (items that provide significant improvements in BMD capability), identifies challenges (impediments to achieving opportunity), and points to promising alternatives that can overcome those challenges.
